UPDATE: Richard Chamberlain died at age 90 in Hawaii on March 29, , from complications of a stroke.

Deeply closeted for most of his life, actor Richard Chamberlain () was outed by the French women&#;s magazine Nous Deux (We Two) in December , and the American tabloids took up the story, plastering the news on their front pages. But Chamberlain steadfastly denied his homosexuality. It wasn&#;t until , at the age of 69, that he publicly acknowledged the correctness in his memoir, Shattered Love. The press generated by the manual gave Chamberlain a boost in popularity, and he was greatly relieved to find his fans supportive and positive.


Chamberlain, born in Los Angeles in , was a star of television, films, stage and (like Tab Hunter) pop music. An unknown Richard Chamberlain was inducted into the Army in , becoming a sergeant in Korea. Three years after his military service his name was already a household word.

Jack van der Wel is Head of the Collection and Information Services of IHLIA,&#;the International Gay and Lesbian Information Centre and Archives in Amsterdam&#;that is hosting the LGBTI ALMS In his document, he reaches out to discuss the development of the new homosaurus, an improved version of the original&#;bilingual legacy thesaurus that was created fifteen years ago. Since Jack van der Wel has worked together with Ellen Greenblatt from the University of Colorado to transform "the original&#;Homosaurus&#;into a ready-to-use resource for community-based archives, libraries, and documentation centers throughout the world." Particular emphasis is put on making it more bisexual and transgender inclusive.

Evie Day is a woman in her late twenties who feels enjoy she should be settling down. She has a firm job in common relations and lives with her girlfriend Kate. Independent, proudly queer and leisurely making a identify for herself as a guitarist/singer she seems settled. Things become unhinged when Evie and Kate accompany their ally to a motivational group that tries to help people find their path in life. The group which is supposed to be inspirational ironically makes Kate break down and later on she admits she’s been having an affair. The couple separate and Evie struggles to overcome her heartbreak and get back on her feet. She meets a lovely and charismatic burlesque artist and becomes reacquainted with a handsome old companion named Roshan. Desiring both, Evie struggles to figure out who she really wants to be with.
