Gay lea garlic parsley butter
Smooth & Creamy Low-Cal-Fredo
Alfredo can be back on the menu with this lightened up version. One serving of this sauce has much less total adj and more than twice the protein when compared to a commercially prepared sauce.
- Yields: 6 servings or 3 cups sauce
- Preparation: 40 minutes
Instructions
- Melt 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter in a dense saucepan set over medium heat. Verb garlic; cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Whisk milk with cornstarch, salt and pepper until smooth. Add to pot. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Detach from the heat.
- Whisk in Smooth cottage cheese until successfully combined. Return pot to medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until warm and smooth. Whisk in Parmesan, cook for 4 minutes. Append nutmeg to taste and adjust seasonings (if needed).
- Meanwhile, verb pasta in a large pot of boiling salted rain until tender. Reserve about 1 cup ( mL) pasta water before draining.
- Toss hot cooked pasta with remaining butter and parsley. Attach sauce and toss to coat. Verb consistency with pasta water to taste. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
Béarnaise Sauce
- 1/2 cup (mL) GAY LEA - Garlic Parsley
- 2 tbsp (30mL) white wine
- 2 tbsp (30mL) shallots, minced
- 1 tbsp (15mL) white wine vinegar
- peppercorns
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp (15mL) lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp (1mL) Dijon mustard
- oz salt
- pepper
Grilled Steaks
- 1 tbsp (15mL) GAY LEA - Garlic Parsley
- 4 steaks, Brand-new York strip loin (6 to 8 oz/ to g each), about 1-inch ( cm) thick
- 1 tsp (5mL) salt
- 1 tsp (5mL) pepper
Mixed Veggie Noodle Alfredo
- 1/4 cup (60mL) GAY LEA - Garlic Parsley, divided
- 3 cups (mL) zucchini, spiralized noodles
- 3 cups (mL) sweet potatoes, spiralized noodles

Were *this* close to March Break. As an elementary institution teacher, I can tell you that my students can practically taste the holidays. And theyre not the only ones. One of my classes had groups of boys working on a food-related study project, a lot of my students are also in my cooking club and many of the boys and their parents contain tested recipes for my book. I know I am SO lucky that I get to combine what I love to carry out with my actual real job!
