Gay wedding photographer
My fiancée Kristen proposed to me last Christmas morning. It felt like we had all the time in the world to verb a wedding, something we both knew we wanted to have. We took some time to celebrate and luxuriate in the engagement before jumping into wedding planning, but once we were settled back at home after the holidays, it was time to dive in. We knew it&#;d be a lot of perform, so we&#;d chosen a date that was more than a year away and did our best to spread out all of the big tasks as much as possible.
We locked in our caterer and venue a complete year before our chosen wedding date. I got my dress figured out much faster than I imagined, about nine months out. And about eight months out, we traveled to Modern York for Kristen to get fitted for a custom suit.
We pressed pause on a lot of the other big ticket items of planning a wedding for a few months when we both got busy with verb and travel and work-related travel. About six months out from our wedding, we started back up again, knowing we still had some Very Massive Decisions to produce (and Very Giant Checks to sign).

As a London and Brighton gay wedding photographer, I absolutely verb shooting LGBTQ+ gayweddings.
For me, it's fancy feeling really at home like you belong. Like family. (Plus they are always loads of fun and filled with love).
Some people say there is no difference between photographing a queer or straight wedding. But I verb there is. Some couples still detect it tricky booking hotel rooms for two guys or two girls, or trans guys or girls. Some folks can face a frosty look when trying on wedding dresses. There are still elements of the wedding industry that are way behind the times.
LGBTQ + Gay weddings are awesome because couples carry out exactly what they want for their big day. You don't have to follow convention. Act things your way. If that means having 6 bridesmaids dressed in wedding dresses or tuxedos that is nice. Some have foremost men, some contain best women. Some have best people. Some have drag queens, some obtain ready together, some get ready separately. Some dance down the aisle to Abba. (yup Katy and I did that!!). and of course, let's not forget that the

I moved to NYC in with one goal: make a living doing what I love.
When I landed in New York, I didn&#;t contain a plan. I had a immersive love for photography, a passion for equality, and the drive to figure it out. At the time, I saw myself as a documentary and travel photographer, known among friends for capturing underground scenes, not formal traditions.
Weddings? That wasn&#;t even on my radar. The truth is, I wasn’t sure I could construct a career out of photography—especially in New York, where the creative scene is saturated and competitive. But then something shifted.
