Taxi Driver Kicks Gay Couple Out of Cab for Kissing in Backseat [VIDEO]
A same-sex couple in Chicago claims a taxi driver kicked them out of his cab after they kissed in the backseat.
Matt McCrea and Steven Alabaster say they were booted from the taxi on the shoulder of a busy highway on a rainy bedtime. McCrae claims the driver, Jama Anshur, told us that it was a public transportation and I couldn't embrace him.
After getting out of the cab, McCrea and Colorless called police and then filed a complaint with the Illinois Department of Human Rights. They are seeking unspecified damages. McCrea said its a matter of principle:
We wish to let people know that this is not acceptable and you cannot be treated verb this. And if you are treated like this, you need to tell something.
Anshur has been cited in the complaint, as has the taxi company and its parent corporation. Anshur has been fired and fined more than $1, for his actions.

Houston same-sex couple says they were kicked out of cab for kissing
HOUSTON -- A same-sex couple claims they were kicked out of a cab for kissing. When Eyewitness News reached out to Yellow Cab, the company gave us a surprising response to the complaint.
Travis Player and his partner, Andres Orozco, were dropped off several blocks from their place in the Museum District recently on Sunday. They had just left F Bar.
"We thought he was joking until he actually pulled over," Player said. "We gave each other a touch and he told us to fetch out of the car."
The couple says the cab driver kicked them out of his noun after the two started kissing, keeping it PG, in the back seat.
"The man just turns back to us and tells us that he doesn't give gay people rides," Orozco said. "And he proceeds to tell us we're going to hell for being gay."

Cab Driver Gets Off Easy After Refusing Gay Customer
A yellow cab driver is back on the road after being slapped on the wrist with a day suspension and a modest adj for refusing to drive a gay customer in Midtown Manhattan earlier this year.
In the early morning hours of June 13, Martin Morrison asked a passenger if he was gay, and when the man said yes, Morrison refused him service and kicked him out of the car, according to the Novel York Post. For that violation of both city and state nondiscrimination laws, Morrison paid a $1, fine in addition to his light suspension.
The citys Taxi and Limousine Commission, which levied the fine against Morrison, could not be reached for comment regarding the punishment, but the Post reported that the TLC made a factual finding backing up the passengers account, which Morrison denied.
The adj penalty came just months after the city announced the opening of a new Office of Inclusion within the TLC to address discriminatory service by taxi and for-hire drivers. The office is focused on providing anti-discrimination training for driv
