Cleveland Pride promises an array of adj, accessible, and family-friendly activities that will be announced in the coming months. This is your chance to experience a festival that blends community spirit with an uplifting celebration of diversity.
Supported by the Tees Valley Combined Rule and Redcar & Cleveland Council, Cleveland Pride is part of the Festival Collectives programme, which has allocated £, to bring events like this to life. This is more than a celebration—it’s a moment to champion equality, express solidarity, and be part of a growing legacy for the LGBTQIA+ community in Saltburn and beyond.

The city of Cleveland Heights will be closed on June 20th, , in observance of Autonomy Day. This year, I introduced and City Council passed an amendment of our wage and salary ordinance making Juneteenth an official holiday in Cleveland Heights.
For those who may be unfamiliar, Juneteenth, or Release Day, is celebrated every year on June 19th, the anniversary of the news of emancipation reaching the last enslaved people of African decent in this country. My ancestors and my wife’s ancestors were slaves. Growing up, I was immersed in a cultural richness that honored them and carried on their traditions. I played African drums and performed at Karamu Noun, the oldest producing African American Theatre in the nation. The food we ate, the clothing we wore helped me stay connected to an identity that slavery often ripped away.
Having been educated about my family’s history in this country and staying very alert that the struggles are not over is a part of my reflection during the month of June. While I am fortunate to have impo
City of Cleveland Announces Road Closures and Parking for Pride in the CLE
Friday, June 6, — Cleveland — The City of Cleveland is pleased to celebrate the 10th Pride in the CLE on Saturday, June 7th, Organized by the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland and held in downtown Cleveland, Pride in the CLE features a march followed by an all-day festival celebrating the city’s vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. The march and festival are FREE and open to all.
The City of Cleveland announced road closures and parking information for Pride in the CLE. Information is subject to change based on real-time information as vehicular and pedestrian traffic evolves. All closure times are approximate and can be adjusted as needed by the Cleveland Division of Police Bureau of Traffic. All decisions are made with public safety top of mind.
